Hi, everybody!

I can't believe it's time for the holidays again. It seems like I just took down the tree! But here we are, and I've got a special Christmas book coming out from Harlequin Blaze: Baby It’s Cold Outside. It's about Emily Stanfield, the poster child of small-town living, and Colin Reeves, the guy who couldn't wait to escape the confines of the same small town. Now, they're thrown together during the holiday frenzy, and the results are both funny and hot. I had a fun time with this book, and I hope you do, too!

I also have a little update on a book a lot of people have been asking about: Turning Japanese. It was supposed to come out last January from Red Dress Ink. Unfortunately, it got dropped from the line-up and the publisher when their executive board changed. Luckily, it's been picked up by Thomas Dunne, the same publisher that put out my non-fiction how-to book Will Write For Shoes: How to Write a Chick Lit Novel. Yay! So for those of you who are still interested in the book about the girl who moves to Japan to draw manga, it'll be out sometime in 2009. I'll keep you posted.

In the meantime... hang on to that holiday sanity, and I'll talk to you again soon!
